User access can be set on all elements in the media tree and is organized in two principle groups: Teams and Security groups. The user information and security settings are defined in the Security and System Administration section.

Adding a team

  1. Click Administration in the Quick Launch menu.
  2. Select a media in the media tree and then click the User Access Control tab.
  3. Locate the Access for Teams heading and then click Add Team .
  4. Select a Team from the drop-down menu.
  5. Click Save .

Note: The team must exist in order to be added.  In order to give more teams access to the current media repeat steps 3 – 5 above.

Adding a security group

  1. Click Administration in the Quick Launch menu.
  2. Select a media in the media tree and then click the User Access Control tab.
  3. Locate the Access for Security Groups heading and then click Add Group .
  4. Select a Security Group from the drop-down menu.
  5. Click Save .

User access can be set on all elements in the media tree. In order to set user access on a zone or leaf, simply repeat the steps above.

Note: It is worth bearing in mind that the setting of users’ access reflects upon the entire media tree, so in cases where user access is not granted on the team or security groups’ level, it will have consequences on individual’s user access to the system.
